A​fter caring for seniors in my youth, my life turned full circle when a family situation ultimately led me to found Family inHome Caregiving, Inc.

In 2009, my grandmother fell and broke her hip, and because at the time she exhibited signs of dementia, her nursing home drugged her to keep her quiet. “Please get me out of here,” she pleaded with me, and I took her out of the Bay Area facility and moved her to my home.

Later that year, I began thinking about leaving my corporate job and doing something meaningful. I talked it over with my grandmother, who told me, “You should take care of seniors like you take care of me. You’re darn good at it.”
I took her advice to heart. In January of 2010, I opened Family inHome Caregiving with the goal that the company’s highly qualified, bonded and trained Home Care Aides (HCAs) would become like members of seniors’ families, offering whatever assistance was needed so that older adults could stay in their homes and be safe, happy, and well cared for.

I absolutely love what I do.

​My main focus is on being a family-oriented company, I want our clients to be as comfortable with my Home Care Aides as they would be with their own family members. The personalized services provided are ideal for seniors who want to remain in their homes but need a little extra support to do so.
